Some light tests from Dubai

This was around midnight on the beach in front of our hotel. We wrangled up some floodlights from the gardening crew and lit the sand and water behind. Took us a long time to get it right cause most of the extension cords weren't working and we were all pretty tired.

For the desert shoot a man came with three falcons. When their hoods were removed the birds would take big dumps.. which a few of us found amusing.

Dubai 1

Just started working on all the Dubai pics today. The desert on top was 45 minutes outside the city. Endless sand dunes and camels (there's a small one in the middle of frame). Everyone wore flip flops and had their feet burnt to shit in the trillion degree sand.

Gone for a while

Going to Berlin and Dubai for a couple of weeks so these posts are going to be spotty at best.

This building in Dubai City is the tallest thing man has ever made. They're up to floor 163 and almost finished.

Hung out at the view by Alan's house last weekend. Perfect temperature and amazing soft light.
