Went to the Carnival last weekend. Nick and I rode in the chair thing that takes you over the whole place. This is what it looked like. (Kind of dropped the ball on this flash exposure. Been using Alan's old Nikon SB28 till mine gets fixed.)
She had the craziest eyes and marbly skin. This detail shot isn't retouched in any way except overall curves and levels. God knows how Russia cranks these creatures out.
Luis did a shoot on Long Island last week. I took these photos while waiting on the hair and makeup.
A big man was launching his daughter into the air.
The sun went behind a cloud and I crept to the edge for his next big throw.

"Goodfellas" and "Far From Heaven" were both filmed there. The yenta factor was sky high. I was subjected to "Hey...take MY picture" requests and awkward encounters all day long.
The last batch from Luis' Rockaway shoot a couple of weeks ago.

I'm liking the density and color of this bottom photo more. Playing around with profiles until its time to re-process and print all these in a couple of weeks.
Some firework photos from Friday. All exposures were made between .5 and 8 seconds using boulders and a water bottle for my tripod.
It started raining pretty hard and my camera was dripping wet. Managed to find a boulder under a tree to rest it on and take the following 5 photos.
So many cool little details in the smoke.
The walk home was pretty amazing but I was bummed about my flash breaking. It was pouring rain and I shot these two misty jams hand held from under my umbrella.
