The waves got real big one day last week. They started out choppy..

..and then the wind started to shift...

..until by the end of the day they looked like this. The photo below was taken off of a 20' boardwalk with a wider lens..making the wave look kind of normal. I was rushing and trying to work and couldn't find anything in the frame to give it scale. I'd say it was about 2-3 feet taller than the wave in the first photo and real clean and hollow and scary and loud.

In the view from the hotel you can see a salty mist settling over the buildings.
